1. Via our web site.
   This method is the easiest and most straight-forward. In order to log-in into Chat you need to select "Chat Log-on (Ladies)" option in the Chat Menu of our web site. You will need to enter your ID and password in order to log-in into HEAVENLY HEARTS Chat. After successfully logging-in, the chat window will be opened. When the chat window is opened, you will be able to access Chat and commence chatting with any of our male clients
2. Using Chat client software (similar to ICQ) which you can download and install on your computer.
   Using the Chat client software allows you to be online and available to Chat when you are working on your computer and your computer is connected to the Internet.
   This programme works in the background and won’t actively interfere with any other work you may be concurrently undertaking on your computer.
   Below we provided the installation instruction for the chat software that is called "Psi".
3. Using the Chat client software that can be installed on your mobile phone.
   This option allows you to be on-line and available to Chat whenever your mobile phone is on. In order to use this option, your mobile phone needs to be connected to the Internet, supports Java(™) technology and have "Bombus" software installed on it. "Bombus" can be download from http://bombus-im.org. If this complex to do, we suggest you ask someone who has experience with mobile phones and can install and configure this Chat software for you.

Installation and configuration instruction for the chat client "Psi".

There are a lot of different chat software products available on the internet e.g. Miranda, Psi, Pidgin, Exodus, ou can use any of these that support Jabber protocol, however herein we have included installation and configuration instructions pertaining to the Psi chat client. We believe that this software product is one of the best ones to use in this instance.

For installation you need to know the following details:

1. Jabber ID.
   Your Jabber ID is created as "Your profile ID"@heavenlyhearts.net (i.e. if your profile ID is AU8371, then your Jabber ID will be AU8371@heavenlyhearts.net).
2. Your Password. Your password for the chat is the same as the password that you use for the HEAVENLY HEARTS site access. If you don't know it, please go to the Password Retrieval page and we will send it to you by email.

In order to download the programme "Psi", you need to follow this link http://psi-im.org/download and then, if you use Windows, you need to follow the link "Windows 98/2000/XP Installer (3 MB)". After that, the download process should be started automatically.

When the download process is finished, you need to install this programme. In order to do this you need to find and run the downloaded file. During the installation process it is better to leave all preference options as is, without any changes.

After the installation the "Psi" chat programme should run and you should enter your access details in order to configure it.

On the first step there will be 'Add Account' window. In the field 'Name' you need to enter the name of your account. Your can leave this field as is or provide any name that you want to use, i.e. this can be the number of your Profile on our web site. The field 'Register New Account' should be unchecked. When you have provided all the details please push the 'Add' button.

Next, there will be a window where you need to provide the connection settings of our chat service. In the field 'Jabber ID' you need to provide 'Your Profile ID'@heavenlyhearts.net as you can see on the picture. In the field 'Password' you need to provide your password. You need to check the checkboxes 'Automatically connect on startup' and 'Automatically reconnect if disconnected'. After that, please push the 'Save' button. Important note: if you use your computer at your place of employment and if your computer is connected through "proxy server"; before you finally push the 'Save' button you will first need to go to the 'Connection' tab and push the 'Edit' button. After that there will be the "Psi: Proxy Profiles" window where you will be able to configure the proxy server (please see the picture on the below right). On this screen please push 'New' button and in the fields 'Host' and 'Port'. Please specify the hostname and port number of your proxy server. These values you can get from your system administrator. When you have provided all the required details, please push 'Save' button. If the Psi chat programme shows the message "Unable to retrieve your account information. Perhaps you haven't entered it yet", please push "OK" button and provide the information about yourself. You can provide your name and your date of birth, but please don’t use your email, webpage, postal code, address and telephone number. When you finish please push 'Publish' button.

Finally now you can work with Chat. However, we recommend that you click the button, then go to the "Options" item. On the "Options" screen please select "Events" tab and check the 'Auto-open New Messages' and 'Auto-open New Headline' checkboxes as you can see in the picture below. If you do this, the new messages from men will be opened automatically in the new window

Please check that the programme works. If all works fine and your status is , then we congratulate you! Your profile will be shown in our Ladies Chat Gallery every time that your computer is connected to the Internet. When a man who is interested in Chatting with you contacts you via our Chat Service, he will be able to push 'Start Chat' button on the HEAVENLY HEARTS web site and send you a message.
